Summary

AI engineer and founder with 15 years in network engineering and security, now a DMZ network architect at Bank of America, where I design the secure network zones that sit between the internet and the bank. I built TokForge, an AI app with more than 9,000 downloads that runs fully on the phone, with no cloud. I co-founded a web hosting and security agency and run the servers behind 18 client websites. I take hard technical problems and turn them into products people can use.

Experience

DMZ Network Architect, Bank of America

Jun 2023 to PresentDallas, Texas

I design and review the network zones (the DMZ) that sit between the internet and the bank’s internal systems. The work centers on security, keeping systems separated, and Zero Trust.

  • Led infrastructure and security upgrades for CashPro, the bank’s online banking platform for business clients, and for the bank’s connection to the Federal Reserve.
  • Serve as the AI lead for the DMZ team. Work with the Automation and Alignment teams to bring AI tools into network design.
  • Designed ATM and alarm-panel upgrades that track ATM assets physically and digitally, including units that were stolen.

Founder and Developer, TokForge.ai

Feb 2026 to PresentDallas, Texas (remote)

TokForge is a private AI app for Android and iPhone. It runs chat, image, voice and document AI directly on the phone, with no account and no cloud. I built it from the ground up and run it as a solo founder. Side projects in development: SurvivalOps.io, an offline survival and medical guide, and Folio, an AI story and game-master app.

  • Launched on Google Play (9,000+ downloads, 4.4-star rating) and on Apple TestFlight.
  • Built the engine that picks the fastest part of each phone (processor, graphics chip or AI chip) to run a given AI model, so the app works well on budget phones and flagships alike.
  • Made AI models run on phone graphics chips from Qualcomm, Samsung and Arm. On a flagship phone, text generation was 1.4 to 2.4 times faster than the leading competitor’s app.
  • Document chat (RAG), AI agents, web search, image generation, and support for large mixture-of-experts models up to 40 billion parameters, all running on the phone.
  • Published 85 AI models on Hugging Face, downloaded about 32,000 times in the last 30 days.

More detail

  • Vulkan GPU work: found and worked around graphics-driver bugs on Adreno, Mali and Xclipse GPUs using per-operation backend tests, then encoded per-chip rules so the app never ships a known-bad path.
  • KV cache replay: on a Galaxy S26 Ultra, follow-up prompts went from 4.7 seconds to 78 milliseconds of prefill. A 4-bit KV cache cuts memory for long chats by 3.5 times.
  • On-device RAG: INT8 BGE-small embeddings on TFLite/XNNPACK, hybrid keyword plus vector search with MMR, and knowledge-graph extraction.
  • Quality: 11,409 automated tests per build variant, a 65-check CI gate, and a 101-case device test harness across 12 Android phones (Qualcomm, MediaTek, Samsung Exynos, Google Tensor) and 4 Apple devices.
  • Process: I direct AI coding agents (OpenAI Codex, Anthropic Claude) in isolated git worktrees, and every change is verified independently before it merges. Crash and ANR monitoring runs on the Play Developer Reporting and App Store Connect APIs.

Co-Founder, Cybersecurity and Web Development, Elevated-Marketing.io

Nov 2024 to PresentIndianapolis, Indiana (remote)

A web design, hosting, security and marketing agency. I run the servers, network and security behind 18 client websites in three data centers (Michigan, Texas and Ohio), with 99.99% uptime over the last year.

  • Moved all 19 client websites to a new data center with zero downtime.
  • Built automatic failover. If the main server fails, a backup takes over within about 3 minutes with no one touching it. We proved it by cutting the power.
  • Keep backups in three locations that ransomware cannot change or delete.
  • Built an AI tool that reads server error logs, explains the problem on a dashboard, and fixes common issues on its own within safety limits.
  • Hardened the servers against attacks. One firewall fix took automatic blocking from zero to working within minutes, against more than 1,600 attack attempts.
  • Led the build of a restaurant point-of-sale system with card-terminal payments, delivered in under four weeks.
  • Set up search and ad campaigns for clients. One client’s website leads went from 42 to 75 a month.

More detail

  • Migration: two-leg Cloudflare edge flip with MySQL 8 GTID replication; 19 of 19 smoke checks stayed green through the cutover.
  • Failover: IPMI power evidence plus Cloudflare health witnesses fence the promotion; no split-brain in drills or in the real incident on 2026-08-15.
  • Disaster recovery: lsyncd file replication, MySQL GTID replicas in Texas and Ohio, Veeam backups to an immutable self-hosted MinIO S3 mesh on 5 TrueNAS nodes (about 255 TB).
  • Network: WireGuard full mesh across 6 sites on VyOS routers (15 of 15 site pairs direct), Tailscale for remote access, Cloudflare Tunnels and Access for internal portals.
  • Monitoring: VictoriaMetrics, Prometheus, Loki, Grafana (21 dashboards, 45 alert rules), clustered Alertmanager, WhatsApp paging through a self-hosted Twilio bridge.
  • Security: Cloudflare-only origin lockdown, ModSecurity with OWASP CRS, a fail2ban rule keyed to CRS anomaly scores, a Grafana threat map, and a security-posture audit across 22 Cloudflare zones.
  • SEO and ads: an 11-agent audit that restored 36 dead URLs carrying 163,000+ historic impressions; Google Ads through the Ads API with offline conversion upload.
